The Barr & Stroud 10x50 MC Sprite monocular is a compact and easy to use alternative to a binocular. 

Particularly well suited for convenient handheld astronomy and is perfect for the car glove-compartment. 

Fully multi-coated optics and a BAK-4 prism provides sharp, bright views with true colour and contrast. 

The smooth focus mechanism is easy to use and twist-up eye-cups are included for convenience and comfort. The fully waterproof design fits neatly in the hand for single-handed operation. 

Features an integral tripod screw thread and is supplied with a small tabletop tripod for when a more stable viewing platform is required. Also includes soft case and tethered front lens cap.

Having wonky eyes and not really able to benefit from regular binoculars I have always wanted something like this. It's brilliant, Nice and Heavy, easy to handle and focus and really clear excellent image, even through a window.
And, I have even attached this to a telescope as an extra finder. Works really well. Thoroughly recommend this and for the cost very impressed.
