About this product
Part Number: PEG-INDIGOAG
Pegasus Indigo Off-Axis Guider
The Pegasus Indigo OAG features a thin, solid design that easily fits the Indigo Filter Wheel.
The OAG supports through holes (M2 and M3) in its body for direct connection with the latest CMOS cameras and other Filter Wheels.
The main advantage of having an OAG is that it uses the same optical path as your primary imaging camera. This avoids any issue with differential flexure that can occur when using a separate guide scope on top of your main telescope.
The Indigo OAG has a super-slim design. Its back focus is 10mm + 4mm for the telescope adapter, so 14 mm total. CNC-machined from aircraft grade 6061 aluminium alloy for lightweight, solid construction.
The prism height can be easily adjusted to enable better illumination of the guiding camera sensor. If your imaging camera sensor is large, the prism can be moved (and secured with set screws) upwards to avoid blockage of the sensor’s optical path.
A 12×8 mm fully multicoated mirror with anti-reflection optical coatings provides high illumination for your guiding camera sensor. Stars are round and bright across the OAG ‘s field.
Indigo OAG supports the 62mm through-hole pattern for direct connection with the latest CMOS cameras and Filter Wheels.
The guide camera connection is a 1.25” barrel.
Orientation of image train framing can be achieved by the three screws that allow the telescope adapter to slide inside the slots.
