Padded bag suitable for 130/650 newtonians

Oklop padded telescope bags are designed to precisely fit the telescope and provide safe storage and transportation.

Manufactured in Europe to a high standard with tough water resistant polyester outer fabric, a silky smooth inner liner and dense 10mm foam padding.

Other features include a sturdy shoulder strap positioned for balance and YKK carabiners and attachment rings for durability and long life.

Fits newtonian telescopes 130mm diameter and 650mm focal length with tube rings and dovetail fitted.

What a great addition to my Astronomy equipment !!

My Celestron 130 Newtonian has always lived in the cardboard box that it came in. This great padded Bag from Oklop is perfect !! makes transport and storage so much better. The neat space for the Focuser and the clever way the end of the bag is closed makes it a must have for this OTA.

I have to go to dark sites near where I live to observe, so protection for my 130mm Reflector is important. The Oklop padded bag is just perfect, providing the softness on the reflector's tube
and the secure knowledge, that I will not have to adjust the optics when I arrive. It's well made, with positive zips and there is room for the scope without fuss. Overall, I would recommend
this bag with 5 stars.

Q1. What is the extra/third listed dimension for?

The third measurement/dimension corresponds to maximum focuser width/height measured including the width of the telescope tube as well.

You can see a little pocket on the side of the bag in the photographs accommodates a standard sized Newtonian focuser. Larger aftermarket focusers may need to be double checked with us for fitting.
