"Are there better Porros out there? Yes, the Nikon SE 12 x 50 comes to mind, or a Fujinon FMT 10 x 50, or even a classic Swarovski 10 x 50, but these cost several times more than either of these binoculars – if you can even get them. But if, like me, you can live with the smaller field of view offered by these instruments, you’re in for a real treat when you test them out in daylight or better still, under dark, starry skies where they’re in their element. Couple all this to their modest cost – both under £200 – and Opticron’s excellent 30-year warranty, and you may begin to see why it’s really hard not to like them!" Review by Neil English

Love these. Tried them out today. I havenīt had much experience with binoculars, apart from the ones I used in the army. These are great quality and with the price reduction Iīm very happy.
No complaints, particularly at the reduced price. The focuser is smoother and possibly less squelchy than a 7x42 version, so I expect some sample variation in the mechanics. The narrow apparent field of view is less of an issue than expected, and anyway will be close to the Nikon equivalent. (Unlike the Imagic TGA WPs , it would appear that the current Nikon Action Ex series lenses are not fully multi-coated and light transmission is worse.) FLO's packaging was good, and without star-testing collimation seems fine. The price includes a substantial if environmentally questionable (vinyl) case, with its own strap. The only slight negative, and it's a purely personal one, is that the anticlockwise-to-infinity focusing is backwards for me. My brain probably needs the exercise. Recommended.
What a great set of optics for the price. Clear vision, very easy to use. Fast focus. Small and compact but powerful. I have used them to look at the stars with no problem and also aircraft. These are a great piece of kit and I would highly recommend them.
Excellent product, Excellent service plus Excellent price. What more can you ask for, recommend FLO every time.
These excellent binoculars are easily held in the hands and although they are only 7x magnification give crisp clear views of the night sky. They are also great for daytime use and are waterproof and rubber coated making them great for use in the field. For the price they are nothing short of excellent. Highly recommend.
