About this product

The Takahashi Collimation Scope is essentially a Cheshire eyepiece built into a small telescope that provides a magnified view. 

Originally designed for collimating the Takahashi Mewlon range of Dall Kirkham Cassegrains telescopes but can also be used for collimating refractors and Ritchie Chretien telescopes.

For collimation of Newtonian and Cassegrain telescopes it is necessary for the primary mirror to have a centre spot.

Needs TKP00113 2" Sleeve and TKP00103 Coupling for use with 2" Focusers.

Additional Note: Takahashi have now introduced the OU033 Adapter which takes the place of the TKP00113 and TKP00103 Adapters.
