For use with Skywatcher SupaTrak, AZ GoTo, EQ3-2, EQ5, HEQ5 & NEQ6 series mounts. Also suitable for ZWO-cooled cameras and other astronomy accessories that require a 2.1mm centre positive, 12v power supply.
Lynx Astro power cables remain soft and flexible, even in the sub-zero temperatures often experienced by astronomers.
Each lead is individually tested for electrical continuity, shorts and power load during manufacture.

Usual excellent quality and sercice from FLO. It is a tight fit into my Az Gti wifi mount but not a bad thing, certainly won't pull out accidentaly.
Switchcraft 'Z series' doesn't always make a secure connection, depending on your device. 06 July 2022 | Jon
Couldn't get a secure connection with this lead to my AsiAir Plus or Pegasus Power Box advance, compared to cheaper leads that do. A little bit of applied pressure and the power is lost. Lead looks high quality otherwise.

Lynx Astro Silicone Power Cable for Sky-Watcher Mounts 19 April 2022 | Graham
Quality cable, Im using it to power an ASI air plus. Had problems with cheaper cables, power failures and voltage drop.
This cable has cured my problems thank you.

Superbly made cable. A real step up from most cables. Top notch product and of course the usual top notch service from FLO. Just an aside (and it has nothing to do with FLO) - thanks to Brexit the charges to Germany were half as much as a couple of cables and a bhatinov mask..... My own fault for not buying in the UK, but highly annoying.

The cable feels very well made, and doesn’t tangle, but I don’t think it’s fit for purpose.
It’s the only 5.5x2.1mm dc cable I’ve seen that actually has a 3.5mm internal diameter until about halfway down the connector (doesn’t look like the picture!). This, I assume, is the cause of the issues I was having with the cable - that in certain positions it doesn’t provide power.
I assumed that the cable was faulty so returned it for a replacement. However, I was told that this was how it should be (connector was the same as the other cables) and was refunded.
As I said, the cable feels well made but if it doesn’t provide power properly then it’s pointless. Instead I bought a £7 cable elsewhere which does what it’s supposed to - provide power reliably!
Response:
We are using the latest Switchcraft 'Z' series connectors which have a different design to ensure the negative connection is made first for improved safey and reliability. We are using these in numerous setups and have tested them on many sockets with zero issues including ASIair, Sky-Watcher mounts and other common astronomy uses so I am not sure this is the cause of the issues you were having - perhaps let us know exactly what you were trying to power and we can investigate.
A good addition to the kit 31 August 2021 | Jonathan
Great service yet again

There is no comparison between these and the cheap cables that come with the mount. Easy to coil, snug fittings, well made and resilient. Expensive, yes but definitely worth it. As always FLOs service was second to none
