Excellent starting kit for astrophotography.

I bought this kit two years ago to get started with deep sky astrophotography, and it has worked very well. I mainly use it unguided with a DSLR, and the tracking is good enough for 1 minute exposures. With auto-guiding you get longer, of course. The telescope is fast, and great quality for the price. Quite easy to collimate. I have also used it a little bit for visuals, and the included eyepiece is surprisingly good. The Goto system works well, and is quite easy to calibrate. Recently, I started to use this setup together with a StellarMate mini computer, using a guide scope with USB camera, using plate solving for navigation, and it has worked just fine. I have taken many nice pictures with this setup, and I'd recommend it as a starter setup with a great price. There is of course more advanced setups out there, but for the price it is very good.
