Sky-Watcher's AZ-GTi Wi-Fi Alt-Azimuth mount features a built-in WiFi module, enabling it to to be controlled wirelessly via your Smartphone or Tablet using Sky-Watcher's free SynScan App for iOS or Android.
It also features Sky-Watcher’s Freedom-Find™ patented dual-encoder technology so your telescope can be moved manually in either axis without the mount losing its positional information - which is rather convenient :-)
The mount is quiet in operation, has a payload capacity of up to 5kg and accepts telescopes via a regular 45mm dovetail bar.
Tripod option includes adjustable aluminium tripod with accessory tray, will also fit to other suitable photo-tripods via standard 3/8" screw fitting.

Mount only, I've used my own heavy duty photo tripod. As others have said, a bit bigger than expected, but this is reassuring when you think what it may have to carry. Excellent service from FLO, it arrived very quickly and was well packed. I've set it up in the garage and carried out a couple of "mock" alignments with my phone and a synscan handset, both looked good and its operation seemed very smooth. As we have had wall to wall cloud from before it arrived and seemingly as far into the future as any forecast goes, a report on its pointing accuracy will have to wait. 4 stars only because the instructions are distinctly underwhelming.

I bought this as a portable mount so I could get out of my garden and to observe Jupiter and Saturn which are obscured by trees. The Sun is also another favourite of mine which is also obscured by trees from November to February so I may well use it for a bit of winter solar too. Did not buy the tripod as I had a decent photo tripod which I plan to use along with either my Bresser AR102xs (for solar) or Skymax 127. Took a bit of getting used to as the instruction manual is worthless. Initially when I plugged it in and tried an align process it just kept pointing at the floor! Figured out from a Youtube tutorial that I had the scope mounted the wrong way around, make sure the "Freedom Find" text is point towards you not the object you are looking at. Also the Synscan Pro app stopped connecting for whatever reason. Downloaded the standard Synscan app and it worked fine but the Pro app (which I wanted to be able to use the mount for solar) would not connect! Eventually solved this by simply uninstalling the app and then reinstalling. Once I had all that sorted it worked well, even on a level-north align it puts the target within the field of view of my skymax / 25mm eyepiece. Tracking is reasonably accurate and improves if you do a two star alignment. Overall I'm happy with this mount, it does what I wanted it to do just don't expect it to be free of challenges when you purchase.
Best value portable mount but

FLO service is top notch!
Fast and I believe they sell the cheapest az gti mount.
As for the mount I use it with fs60cb and I have issues to align it for goto. Still trying to play with it but it always seems few degree off. (Using iOS with sky safari 6 pro)

It's a lot bigger and heavier than I was expecting, but I think I prefer that. First light was last night and it was beautiful to use. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. The first is the documentation that came with it is definitely not enough. The second, honestly is the box, nothing on it just a plain standard box.
Flo as always are amazing and they will always get 5 stars from me for their part.
Performance inconsistent, electronics unreliable, dead after only 1 year.

I bought this model in Feb 2019, I am not sure if I've got a bad sample. The good side is quick set up and very easy to use. The bad side is the performance of the mount has been very inconsistent, sometimes very accurate but sometimes it pointed to nowhere when I input an object. When I photographed the annular eclipse in December 2019, the mount was unable to track the sun, I had to manually correct the position from time to time. Then, this Easter weekend, it simply failed to connect, the led light flashed as it should , I could connect the wifi but couldn't connect to the mount itself. I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. 2 stars because it's easy to use, otherwise it is one.
A great portable AZ mount

I bought this to mount my new Skywatcher ED80, which is to be used as a travel scope. Not the most sturdy mount out there, as you might expect given its size, but more than enough to handle my ED80 for visual use. As a package this is excellent, with full featured GoTo capabilities. Easy to set up and easy to use. Once aligned I get pretty much bang-on GoTos every time. Very happy. Highly recommended.
This is a go-to option for the beginner

This is a go-to option for the beginner (myself) and probably for anyone is looking for portability.
I have purchased only the base and I had no issue to firmly attach it on my photographic tripod (my tripod is sturdy and can carry up to 10k).
The disadvantage is that there is no manual (the included leaflet is not a manual...) so you have to search on Youtube and forums for review and guides.
Easy to use through the SysScan Pro on an iPad.
Please be advised! Do not make the same mistake. Pay attention to your tube's mount to match. I have the Sky-Watcher Skymax 90 OTA and the mount is not compatible! You have to replace it with the SHORT option from this: https://www.firstlightoptics.com/dovetails-saddles-clamps/astro-essentials-dovetail-bars.html
I thought that it would be possible to capture great planetary images without a motorized mount. Hmmm no...This is a must-have if you are looking for quality pictures.

Good Mount for a lightweight Telescope with good GOTO for the price of equipment, very good App to goto objects, I particulary like the "best object for the night" with one click go to, however I found using the iPhone to move the telescope fiddly, had to keep on looking at it where my finger is poking, I think the use of a SkyScan handset would be easier, this is why I droped a Star, In all a good buy for a Grab N Go

Very nice little mount. As has been said, the instruction manual is not much use, but with the videos available on YouTube it is very easy to set up and use. With a little care the pointing accuracy is very good. All the actions are very smooth with very little backlash. I am sure I am going to enjoy my sessions with this lovely mount.
