Premium quality serial RS232 suitable for use with a Sky-Watcher mount using a SynScan handset.

Connects PC and handset for control of the mount via suitable planetarium software. Computers without an RS232 port will also require a RS232-USB adapter.

Also suitable for connecting a handset to a PC for upgrading the handset's firmware. 

Made from high quality round cable that is more flexible and less prone to snagging or twisting than flat cables.

We have also taken this opportunity to specify higher quality plugs. I.e. the DSUB plug has thumbscrews, so is easy to secure, and the point where the cable fits the plugs is nice and tight to prevent moisture entering the plug. 

Individually tested and quality controlled for peace of mind.

Available in 5m or 10m lengths.

Excellent for the Orion Sirius EQ-G

1. Rs232 cables are not all the same. . . I had about three and none worked with the Orion Sirius EQ-G mount.
2. Saw this cable on FLO website. Bought it!

3. Once I plugged in this cable -perfect! updated in five minutes with the latest flash rom download!

4. Comment: Cable is very sturdy, and should last as long as I have this mount!

5. Once again for me, FLO had exactly the right product, at a great price, and delivered it with reasonably-priced fast shipping!
One can't ask for more than that!

Answer yes when you conect a mount for the very first time to your computer and watch you scope slew to Saturn so you can take your first look ever at this fantastic planet. Once again many thanks to FLO for providing service and advice and thanks for excellent well made product that made the task effortless.

I had bought a couple of cheaper adapter cables they didn't work. Only buy genuine ones worked first time.

Very well made cable, high quality connections and good value. Cables may not be the most exciting item, but they are pretty essential and a nightmare when they go wrong or don't work. Although I have only used this Lynx cable a few times, it is robust and has a solid professional feel, but most importantly it works as it should.

Used to connect my windows 10 PC COM port to my EQ6 SkyScan hand controller so as to use ASCOM v6 platform and Driver with EQMOD. Works perfectly.
