Very tight fit on the NexStar but it forms a stable connection. Seems well made. I reversed the direction of the camera attachment for better balance on the mount. I added a small ball-head for greater flexibility but my DSLR catches on the NexStar mount in landscape mode - just means it has to be at a bit of an angle (which is easily corrected in post-processing).
One minor criticism - the description doesn't explain what the black knob does - it looks like it allows the camera attachment to slide along the slot, but that isn't the case.

Best priced on the market (as always beware of p&p charges). Item not available in original colour (red) but who's gonna tell in the dark. Existing counterweight rod screwed straight in it. Now, we are ready for small instruments to be mounted.
