StellaLyra Secondary Mirrors are made to a very high standard by Guang Sheng Optical in Taiwan.

These mirrors can be found in GSO-made Newtonian and Dobsonian Telescopes worldwide, and they are renowned for their combination of high quality and great value.

Each mirror has an enhanced aluminium reflective coating with a reflectivity of approx 93%. The aluminium coating is protected by a correctly applied protective coating (SiO2). 

The glass used is optical grade BK7, and GSO guarantees diffraction-limited performance, although the mirror surface quality is typically around 1/16 wave RMS.
