StellaLyra 16" f/4.5 Primary Mirror

StellaLyra Parabolic Primary Mirrors are made to a very high standard by Guang Sheng Optical in Taiwan.

These mirrors can be found in GSO-made Newtonian and Dobsonian Telescopes worldwide, and they are renowned for their combination of high quality and great value.

Each mirror has an enhanced aluminium reflective coating with an approximate reflectivity of 93%. A protective SiO2 overcoat is then applied to ensure the aluminium remains bright for many years.

The glass used is optical grade BK7, and GSO guarantees diffraction-limited performance, although the mirror surface quality is typically around 1/16 wave RMS.

The mirror thickness is 35mm.

GSO Primary mirrors are perfect for self-build projects or replacing damaged mirrors from commercially made telescopes.
