Solid if Expensive Upgrade

Bought an FS-60Q for solar viewing. The stock focus knobs that come with it are plastic and there's no micro focus knob. I found it frustrating to focus in on detail without a micro knob. My options were to upgrade the right knob to a Tak MEF Micro Edge or go the whole hog and upgrade to a FeatherTouch Micro-Pinion. The FeatherTouch being 120 pounds more expensive. It's expensive all round. At 1/3 the price of the FS-60Q or 1/2 the price of the FS-60CB it's a relatively big outlay. I have to say I'm quite happy with the upgrade. It's silky smooth and looks the park. This is my first FeatherTouch and I'm very pleased with it. It's pretty straight forward to upgrade. It comes with a DVD but you'll find written instructions online that are step by step and easy to follow.
