Takahashi FC-76DCU f7.5 Doublet Fluorite Apochromat Refractor

The Takahashi FC-76DCU is an f7.5 doublet fluorite apo' refractor telescope design with a 76mm objective diameter.

The multi-coated fluorite rear lens and eco-glass front element provide maximum light transmission and very high contrast.

Surprisingly Versatile!

When used with the optional CQ1.7x Extender, the focal length can be increased to 950mm / f12.5. This provides the depth of focus and spherochromatism of an F12.5 fluorite doublet, making it an excellent choice for lunar and planetary observation.

For astrophotography, an optional dedicated flattener is available that operates at 594mm / f7.8 and produces a nice flat 40mm imaging circle. Or, there is a dedicated reducer that results in 417mm / f5.5 and provides a 36mm imaging circle.

The FC76DCU has an 80mm diameter tube (the FC-76DS is 95mm).

Features a fixed dew-shield.
