About this product

The Takahashi FSQ-106ED has an oversized lens cell (the assembly that hold the telescope's triplet optics). This places the telescope's centre of gravity towards the front of the telescope, making it making it difficult to correctly balance on a mount using traditional tube-rings. 

This offset plate solves the problem by moving the centre of gravity further back.

It has been designed specifically for use with the FSQ-106ED cradle (ref. TKA23420) and symmetrical cradle (ref. TKA36420G).

The balancing plate is compatible with Takahashi EM-200 mount.
