TeleGizmos Solar Scope Covers are warranted for one year from date of purchase including all labor and material. If your cover fails due to either a manufacturing or material defect, TeleGizmos will repair or replace the cover during this warranty period. Proof of purchase required. This warranty is fully transferable. This warranty does not include coverage of normal wear and tear.

TeleGizmos Scope Cover for 10" / 12" Dobsonians.

228cm / 90" circumference, 175cm / 69" height.

Manufactured using a multi-layer, polyethylene material with a fully Aluminised surface. The heat reflective ability of the cover is extremely high with a material strength equal to a multi-layer light weight tarp.

The material was originally developed for NASA as an insulator in spacecraft. It is very strong, light, tear and puncture resistant and is highly superior to Mylar in durability.

I bought this to cover up my Celestron Starsense 10 inch Dob on its mount which is kept in my garage. It has ample proportions for a 10inch. I'm sure it would be ample for a 12 inch also - the cover is intended for both sizes so that's fair enough.

It's fairly lightweight, but will survive outside for short periods if it is necessary. TZ do a heavier version for scopes kept outside for long periods.

I'm very happy with the purchase.

I was looking for a cover for my Skywatcher 300P so it doesn't get dusty in the garage, FSO recommended this cover, it fits perfectly and being shiny is helpful as a warning for others not to touch and not use it as a shelf!
The 300P is a collapsible dobsian so is short when in its storage position, this means the cover has a bit of excess material at the base but that's not important, will also be ideal for covering when outside.
Strongly recommend.
