Great beginner scope with useful accessories included

The 130mm mirror and 650mm focal length delivers enough magnification and light gathering ability to view details on the lunar surface, the rings of Saturn, the cloud belts on Jupiter and a number of deep-sky targets including the famous globular cluster in Hercules (M13) and the Great Nebula in Orion (M42).

An easy to use built-in red-dot finder helps you centre the target and an all-metal German Equatorial (GEQ) mount with slo-mo flexible control cables enables you to track the target manually as it moves across the sky.

  • Manual German equatorial mount with setting circles – to accurately locate and track sky objects
  • Adjustable, full height steel tripod with deluxe accessory tray
  • Quick and easy no-tool setup
  • Accessories include a 20mm and 10mm eyepiece and a finderscope.
  • Download Starry Night Basic Software with a 10,000 object database, printable sky maps and 75 enhanced images

Download Celestron’s Starry Night Software and learn about the night sky, celestial objects, and how to plan your next observing session. Celestron Starry Night Software is the premier astronomy software package on the market, providing resources and knowledge to view our solar system and beyond.

Smartphone Adaptor

Take photos of the Moon and planets with your smartphone with this useful and easy to use accessory.

My teenage son has taken a first interest in astronomy, but I must confess I know nothing about telescopes and star watching. After doing some background reading and research on the internet I was more confused than before. Dave was extremely helpful and walked me through the pros and cons to help identify which telescope would work best for us. Would highly recommend.
