Meade 10" f/8 ACF UHTC Telescope OTA
Building on Meade’s award-winning Advanced Coma Free 'ACF' optics, this 10" OTA employs a fast f/8 optical system with high-contrast baffling that delivers coma-free images with pinpoint stars and a flatter field.
ACF optics also reduces astigmatism and is free of diffraction spikes.
Other features include an internal zero image shift Crayford-style focuser with two-speed 7:1 reduction control (smooth, precise focusing), Meade UHTC optical coatings (maximum brightness and contrast) and an oversized Borosilicate (low-expansion) primary mirror.
Fitted with a Losmandy-style dovetail with wide-stance radius blocks for maximum stability.
