This simple, functional and accurate finder for a telescope is much easier to use than a conventional finder-scope.
It projects a set of circles 0.5 degrees, 2 degrees, and 4 degrees, that enable you to align your telescope on objects in the sky.
You can also use the circles to star-hop from one object to another. I.e. if a galaxy is 8 degrees away from a star, you simply count two 4-degree circles.
Supplied with a universal base plate that can be attached via screw holes or the included sticky pads.
"We loved the view through the Telrad and everything worked without fuss" BBC Sky at Night Magazine
Astronomy aside, the Telrad finder is also popular with those working with stage lighting. With a Telrad attached follow-spot light operators can point with precision.

I have two of these one for a CPC8 I use for outreach and the other for my new LX850 12".
I had a problem with getting the base to adhere to the stipple effect OTA on the Meade, so I bought some Gorilla tape...problem solved.

Good, solid construction and very easy to find desired target. Much better than the finder on the Celestron 130EQ.

Was bought as a present and they were happy with it. Not tried it out yet so unable to give me any feed back. Came through the post very fast.

Excellent product so easy to setup and use. I think this is one of best red dot finder of this type for most astronomy telescopes.

I read a lot of reviews on the Telrad before I bought and they were spot on. My finder scope is useless in comparison. Ordered from FLO who had the best price and delivery time and they were bang on the money. Thanks
Understandably the favourite.

Bigger than would would imagine, (though fairly lightweight), but simple and very nicely constructed.
Very convenient to use and well supported by third party software and guides.
A targetting circle is definitely a better idea than an obscuring dot.
I will be buying the dew shield with the reflex finder to make it easier to view on my 10" Dob.

Excellent piece of kit. Using mine in conjunction with a 60mm finder scope.

I have two of these. They are very good but I make two additions. The first is that I add two resistors to heat the screen and keep the dew at bay and my own version of a flasher circuit to blink the circle on and off. Both these are availble from Flo if you are not technically minded. The AA batteries last for ages.
