About this product

This is the short version of the TS 2.5" Rack and Pinion Focuser with a max payload capacity of 6kg and designed for fitting to the StellaLyra (and others manufactured by GSO) 6" and 8" Ritchey Chretien and Classical Cassegrain telescopes.

The TS 2.5" rack and pinion focuser has an M63x1 connection thread on the camera side. This allows direct screwing of corrector systems like the TS 2.5" full-frame flattener for refractors or StellaLyra Ritchey Chretien telescopes.

In addition, a 2" eyepiece adaptor is included (compression ring with three screws), and a 2" to 1.25" adaptor is also included.

This focuser does not use ballbearing supports, which can tilt. Instead, it uses a  Teflon support, guaranteeing a complete lack of play when used with heavy loading. The draw tube's motion is separated, offering the best possible stability and smooth movement.
