The Vixen NPL series are classic 2-group 4-element Plossl eyepieces that offer higher performance than the majority of eyepieces supplied with telescopes.

I wanted a very wide FOV 30mm eyepiece with good eye relief, the guy from FLO explained why my original expectations could not be met and this was one of his suggestions. It is a massive step up in both build and visual quality over the the eyepieces that came with the telescope, also much more easy and comfortable to use. I know the term, “it’s like looking out of the window of a spaceship”, is over used but that’s what it feels like to me. For info Telescope is Celeston 5” SCT.

Well made and far better than basic one that came with telescope. Eye relief tight but manageable. Good on moon and planets.

Not an expert on eyepieces but this is so much better than the stock eyepiece that comes with Skywatcher telescopes. No hesitation in recommending. Great service from FLO.

Definite upgrade from usual 32mm brands, sharp and contrasty over full fov in both f4.9 Star Travel 102 and f10 Celestron 8se, twist up eyecup very good for long eye relief.
In Mak 127 very impressed. Monday, 4 September 2017 | Mike
Orion Nebula and trapezium were very well presented by the 30mm version of this EP. Nice and sharp and good contrast despite the sky beginning to show signs of dawn.
It was purchased to give a wide view whilst aligning but it was so good it stayed put for most of the session.
Be interesting to see how it fares with my Newt at f4.7 ???

Cant fault this 25 mm ep for the money. First time out i was allready seeing far more than my stock ep,s. Infact i didnt even get them out. I used this 25 and a 2x barlow. So much better
Amazing quality for a low price Wednesday, 11 June 2014 | Martin
I bought the 8mm one to get better views of planets, the difference i noticed right away was amazing compared to the 10mm supplied with my skyliner 200p. ring separation on Saturn was very crisp and Jupiter showed in great color and very easy to see the color banding of it. I will defiantly be ordering more of the Vixen NPL range after seeing first hand how good they are

Had my Skywatcher 127 for a year. I quickly upgraded from the lenses that came with it. I bought the 40mm first followed by a 9mm Celestron lense. To be honest my light polluted skies offer little chance to get a clear view with the 9mm so I use the 40mm all the time. Its wide angle makes it really easy to find your target and I wear glasses and find the eye relief fab.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to treat myself to a new lense. I thought that the 15mm version would be a good middle of the road choice. I certainly wasn't disapointed. Jupiter's rings looked really clear and I can't wait for another clear night to look at my other favourites.
As far as First Light Optics are concerned, I have nothing but praise. They have always been helpful and very quick to dispatch items.

A wonderful addition for any budding astronomer, these eyepieces as mentioned before offer a much better experience than those supplied with a beginner telescope. My first purchase was the 8mm lens, and this offered previously unparalleled images of jupiter and it's equatorial belts. A definite purchase for a great price and as for FLO's delivery, cannot fault them. Very speedy.
