NEW updated version of the highly respected ED 81S Mk-II. 

The Vixen ED refractor range has been redesigned to allow use of full frame DSLR camera sensors. The new models are designated SD (Super extra low Dispersion glass).

Thanks to an improved baffle system, the incoming light near the edge of field of view has been increased when compared to the previous generation model.

The SD range also have their own dedicated field flatteners and focal reducer that help deliver pin sharp star images across the field of view of a 35mm full-frame image sensor.

Fitted with a sturdy 2-inch dual-speed Rack & Pinion focuser. 

NOTE: Eyepieces shown in photo are not included.
