Tried this for the first time with a ZWO ASI290MM. Makes a perfect paring with the SpaceCat 51, (or RedCat 51) once camera installed and focus achieved, there's a locking right that holds focus, so between sessions there's no problems with focus getting lost. It's small light, and was easily able to pick up stars for guiding. It's a great piece of kit for any astro photographer.

Not yet tried this small guidescope, but I am quite confident it will do a good job. What it has done for me, is lighten the load on my mount. Balance is now very easy to create, and that is so important. I'm sure my lodestar guide cam. will be a good partner for the little fellow, and I envisage no problems at all.

Fast and reliable. And quite cheap now (before Brexit). Highly recommended.
Ideal for use as a guidescope or finderscope

The ZWO Mini Guide Scope is well built and reasonably priced. I purchased one for use as a solar scope in a Raspberry Pi based project I'm currently designing. The small 30mm objective is fine for solar work, though at F4 focussing needs to be very precise and this can be quite difficult as the objective part of the scope is turned to achieve focus. The whole unit is made from metal, so it does feel sturdy. It would make a great little finderscope or lightweight guidescope.

Using this on my WO61 and the red it a great match for it. The scope is very nice quality and very compact, perfect with the ZWO120MM attached.
