Recommended Connection Method
Since USB 5V may not be enough to power the WiFi extender, we recommend you use a DC 12V power supply. You can directly connect the WiFi extender to the ASIAIR PRO via ASIAIR PRO’s DC 12V output port and Ethernet port.
When the green indicator is flashing rapidly, it indicates the WiFi extender is working properly.
Connect your phone to the WiFi extender. The code can be found at the back of the WiFi extender. It is recommended you choose 5G because the 5G signal is stronger than 2.4G and the transmission speed is also faster.
Open the App and confirm the network your phone is connected to. Hit Next to move on.
Scan ASIAIR and connect your phone to it.
You can now start astrophotography in comfort!
Except for AP mode, you can also login in to the configuration site of the WiFi extender to set the station mode. For detailed instruction, please refer to the ZWO WiFi Extender quick guide.

Usual excellent service from FLO. But I find this extender has issues. It will won't work if the optical tube blocks its line of sight which was a problem when I mounted it on my 10" sct. I wanted to mount it on the ota along with the ASIAir to maintain cable control. In frustration I bought the same extender with antennas off Amazon which means the signal is not blocked by the ota. I have moved the original Vonets to my 11" Rasa, as the ASIAir is mounted in a different position on the ota and I have placed velcro in multiple positions so I can reposition the extender if necessary. I would advise buying the extender with aerials and you will get an excellent signal in all angles and it also has a much greater range.

What with the weather and short evenings I havenít had much use out of it yet but it is super easy to set up and does make a huge difference to the wireless range. Lights are a little bright but a bit of tape fixed that. I think that if you have the AAP or stellarmate then this is a must. Will be getting a second for the RPi.
