Basic power supply

Brought unit to power my ASIAir Mini when at home. No connection issues and work perfectly well. Did think price was a bit high for what it is.

Works well

Great service from FLO, arrived very quickly.

It powered my ASI294MM Pro which cooled down to -30℃ fine.

The length of the cable is great, the lead from the camera to power adapter is 120cm. I strapped the power adapter to the leg of the tripod at the bottom to keep it off the ground. The lead from the adapter to the plug is ~170cm which, again, is a good length.

Does what it's supposed to
29 July 2021  |

I bought this power pack to power my zwo asiair pro from the mains. It does what it's supposed to and at least I know it's compatible being zwo and won't cause me any issues. A nice length on the cables as you'd expect for a power pack.

It does the job but the cable is too short
20 September 2020  |

As a PSU there is nothing to fault. It plugs in and delivers power to the camera. All good.

My only criticism is the lead from PSU to to camera is quite short. This is an easy fix with an extension, but out of the box it would ideally be longer. Using an extension gives the added bonus of a break point in the cable, which should seperate if anything snags.

So yep - does the job, but is also a little frustrating, There's not much else to be said about a PSU!

Not Correct Connector
08 June 2020  |

This cable is not a ZWO 240V AC to 12V 5A DC Power Supply Adapter for Cooled Cameras. Advised them item provided not correct , I was told came from ZWO I shared a link for cable at half the price that confirmed 2.5 not 2.1) after mainy emails where i was told that is not the correct size and the cable I was sharing was not what I had been sold( even though the make and model number were exactly the same, i shared a picture that confirmed excatly that and what i had said from the start this cable is 2.5 not 2.1

Response:

The plug size issue was not mentioned until a number of emails were sent backwards and forwards around the branding of this as it is not specifically 'ZWO' branded. It is made by a 3rd party manufacturer as is common with all camera companies, it is much cheaper to buy in power supplies than make your own!

Had the size issue become apparent earlier in the conversation we would've instantly realised there was a mix-up with this specific adapter and although it was supplied to us by ZWO, it is not the correct item.

We've not had this issue with these power supplies before so suspect it was a one-off. If anybody else is affected please let us know and we will swap it over.

Does the job
17 November 2019  |

Like all manufactures, this one also has the heavy cable that gets really hard during cold nights. Even at 4-5C it's hard has rock. This can be a problem for your cable management.
Other than that, the power is stable and I have no problem to cool down the 1600MM Pro.
