Tried with Optolong EOS-C filters
19 January 2023  |

I decided to try these clips with my current stock of Optolong EOS-C filters the L-Pro and L-enHance so i didnt have to buy new filters when swapping between a DSLR and a ZWO camera. After a chat with the guys at FLO they suggested trying it on the returns policy as it hasnt been tested before

I received the adapter today and it does nicely fit both the Optolong L-enHance and L-Pro EOS-C filters i already have. They fit nicely enough and they come out with a bit of pressure as expected. The only problem i had was mounting this into a ZWO M42 filter drawer. The L-Pro was fine but the L-enhance needed some persuading as it seems that part of the filter mount was fouling (the mount on the EnHance is more rectangular while it is circular with the L-Pro). However, it came back out again nicely and fit really snug.

Does the job with these filters

Handy Adapter
01 January 2023  |

I purchased this adapter to allow use of an Astronomik 12nm clip-in Ha filter in a 2" system and it works very well, giving a new lease of life for the filter and side stepping the need to pay out for an expensive new 2" filter saving a lot of money. Used with a smaller camera sensor means no vignetting. Would recommend to others.
