Astro Devices Meade Lightbridge Dobsonian Encoder Kit

When purchasing digital setting circles for your telescope, you will also need to install a set of Encoders onto your telescope — without Encoders, your Digital Setting Circles have no way of interfacing with your telescope.

The encoders are attached to your telescope’s axes and send signals to your DSC, letting it determine the position of your telescope.

The Meade Lightbridge Dobsonian Encoder Installation Kit is designed specifically for Meade Lightbridge Dobsonians of all sizes.

12 Light bridge resurrected into the modern age

I recently bought a 2nd hand late 2007 model 12" light bridge and seen astro devices did an encoder kit, I contacted Flo and they duly ordered one for me, a bit off a wait ensured with the kit arriving a short time later, a relatively simple installation and I now have a light bridge transformed into the modern age running via a nexus 2 and tablet with sky safari pro app, it is a dream to use and I highly recommend the kit to fellow light bridge owners.
