TKAstroservice TK Lens Clamp System for Samyang/Rokinon/Walimex 135mm f2 Lens, ZWO EAF

The TK Lens Clamp System allows the Samyang 135mm F2.0 lens to be used as a telescope.

On the front clamp are rotational markings, which one can use to set the lens rotation precisely. This is particularly useful if you want to shoot the same target over multiple nights, as it allows you to quickly find the correct rotation again. We recommend using a tool like Stellarium/N.I.N.A to determine the desired rotation beforehand. There are no numbers for rotation printed on the front clamp. The instruction manual explains how to read the markings.

On the sides are M4 threads for mounting additional equipment (e.g. ZWO EAF, ZWO ASIAIR Adapter).

The finder shoe allows the use of a viewfinder or a guidescope.

The lens clamp system is modular and allows various configurations. All Accessories can be used simultaneously.

The ZWO EAF moves the focus ring via a belt drive so, when compared to a gear, it has less backlash, is more durable and quieter. 

A detailed instruction manual for setting up the lens clamp system and its accessories is included.

The lens clamp system is 3D printed using PETG. This material is UV resistant, so it can be used outdoors in direct sunlight without any problems. The glass transition temperature of PETG is 85°C (185°F). At this temperature, the material starts to deform. We, therefore, recommend keeping the lens clamp system in an environment below 60°C (140°F). The usual minor imperfections, like layer lines associated with 3D prints, can be seen on the printed parts.
