I have an 8" Dobson Telescope and Works Pretty much good and very smooth. BUT, I think that you have to Warn for those who have 8" telescope that they have remove the midle screw that holds armas above the dobson (or make the hole more deep, 2 mm it's ok) because the metal plate will be under those screws and could damage it, and when you slize will be very uncofortable or with jumps. And also i had to use a hand lime to make the central hole of the 2 metal plates more bigger (1,5 mm aprox) because the plastic holder of the base mount will not fit. This bearing kit fixed the issue I was having with my Skywatcher 200p making a grinding noise when rotating the scope, it is now very smooth when rotating which makes observing much more enjoyable. One thing to note is I had to countersink 2 of the screws on the base as they were hitting the bearing plates causing friction but I don't think this would be an issue on scopes larger than 8". Just need to figure out a way to make vertical movements as smooth now.
