Baader ClickLock M74i x 1 for Skywatcher Esprit
11 December 2019  |

This was very easy to fit, and enabled quicker and easier fitting and removal of various accessories such as a star diagonal, filter wheel, and digital SLR, and provides a nice tight grip. It adds about 20 mm to the light path, which means that the majority of my eyepieces focus at around the midpoint of about 45 mm on the graduated scale of the focuser, as opposed to towards the outward end previously. This now leaves sufficient outward travel to reach focus with my longest focal length eyepiece (a 56mm Plossl) without the need for an extension tube, and requires a 50mm rather than 80mm extension tube with my Canon 6D, whilst still leaving 45mm of inward travel if required for other accessories.
