This gives a very acceptable performance for a wide angle eyepiece at £39. The edge definition seems softer than more expensive models, but most of the field is sharp, and I can't see any noticeable chromatic aberration.

It was a toss up between the 15mm BST Starguider and the Stellalyra 15mm Superview. I chose the Stellalyra as its a more compact eyepiece, has a wider field of view (68 degrees v 60 degrees), and no taper/undercut on the nosepiece. First impressions are the Superview is nicely put together, well blackened and with a removable nosepiece.

Tested in a 102mm f7 refractor, no internal reflections from bright objects just outside the FOV are visible to my old eyes and stars appear sharp and without aberrations over about 85% of the view. Well pleased with this eyepiece, good value for the money.
