I have never viewed the moon through a scope before, low and behold it''s bright and fierce to my eyes when viewing without a filter. I am so glad I purchased this. It didn't affect the views i had at all and made viewing the moon so enjoyable both with a 25mm and 10mm eyepiece.

A must have for viewing a full moon, really takes the glare out of it as i found it is surprisingly bright! A good price, nice quality, no complaints 🙂. FLO as always have been fantastic, can't recommend them enough!
Astro Essentials ND Filters

I brought the set of 3 of these small but amazing filters. These are just as good as expensive rivals and if the moon is a tad too bright you can always add on another ND filter. The detail of the moon's surface is incredible with these filters - offering quite an immersive experience. I also found the atmospheric shimmer, particularly when the moon is in the mid-lower regions of the sky, somewhat lessened. Gone are the days of being temporarily blinded when moving from dark sky objects to the moon. Thanks a million FLO - your products and service rock.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it really well! Very pleased with my new moon filter and next day delivery as well - more than happy to recommend this addition to your kit

We were told you needed a moon filter and it is excellent. We could see every detail of the moon without hurting our eyes.

For such a low priced filter, I was surprised by the results. Got to use it on my 120 mm achromatic refractor when the moon was high before daybreak. Stops you feeling like you are staring directly into a torch and keeps the colours looking natural. Screws easily and securely to the eyepiece thread, too, and doesn't feel cheap.
At 100x magnification I got some wonderful views of craters at the terminator and in some other spots. Considering the moon had been full a few nights before, this filter made viewing very comfortable.
Though it may not give a noticeable boost in contrast, it performs admirably for the price, and I can definitely recommend this to other beginning astronomers on a budget, if you are happy with essentially just reducing the glare so you gaze at the moon's natural majesty.

Even with binos the moon, especially a full moon is too bight to look at for long, which is a shame because it's fascinating. Well, not anymore. This little filter cuts out the eye watering brightness but does nothing to diminish the view, in fact it seems to enhance the craters and their shadows.
