Rowan AZ100 Y Axis Balance Plate

This additional plate allows the balancing of heavy eyepieces with bino-viewers when pointing towards the zenith. It fits between the mount and the existing saddle.

Compatible with both 'D' or Dual 'DV' saddles.

Supplied with a 16mm diameter x 320mm long eyepiece counterweight shaft, which can be fitted to the front or rear of the Y-axis balance plate, depending on which side of the mount the Y-axis plate is fitted.

There is also an optional 750g stainless steel counterweight that enables quick balance adjustment following eyepiece changes.

CNC machined black anodised aluminium with stainless steel hardware.

It is available with the altitude axis spacer, which you will need if you have a motor system fitted and fit the Y-axis balance plate on the left side of the mount.
