Sharpstar 0.84x Reducer/Flattener for 50 EDPH Telescope
This 0.84x reducer from Sharpstar reducer is optically matched to the 50EDPH APO refractor. It converts your 50 EDPH into a highly portable f/4.6 astrograph telescope suitable for camera sensors up to APS-C size.
The wider field of view and faster exposure times make the 50 EDPH an excellent choice for imaging fast-moving celestial objects, star clusters, and large emission nebulae.
The reducer's four-element optical design is set into a CNC-machined metal body with metal dust caps. The back focus distance from the rear M48 thread is the standard 55mm, and there is a filter slot for 2" filters.

How to Connect Your Reducer
To connect the 0.84x reducer to the 50EDPH telescope, remove the 1.25" adapter from the rear of the 50EDPH by unscrewing it. Next, unscrew the dust cap from the body of the reducer and screw it onto the Male M42 thread where the original eyepiece adapter was attached. Ensure the reducer is securely screwed on for seamless integration into your imaging train.
