About this product

Starlight Instruments Focuser Boss II digital kit is a new electronic focusing system that enables focus control through any ASCOM compliant software such as Maxim DL, FocusMax, SG Pro and CCD Soft.

Compatable with a Mac through Sky X with a daily build of 7315 or later.

Comes standard with a digital hub and stepper motor as well as various upgrade options listed above.

Choose the correct stepper motor option for your focuser:

HSM20 - will fit any Feather Touch Micro Focuser, Feather Touch retrofit pinion assembly upgrade, or 2.0" Feather Touch Crayford focuser.

HSM30 - will fit any 2.5", 3.0" or 2.0" Feather Touch Rack/Pinion focuser.

HSM35 - will fit any 3.5" Feather Touch focuser.

The WIFI option will enable you to control the focuser via a smart phone or IPAD, in this setup the hand controller is not needed unless you wish to use both control options.

The push buttons on the hand controller can be used to move the focuser in or out.

The temperature sensor is used to compensate for changes in temperature.

The 2nd focuser control board option is used to control two Feather Touch focusers simultaneously (you will need to purchase another stepper motor for the 2nd focuser separately).
