StellaLyra 8-24mm 1.25" Lanthanum Zoom Eyepiece
A high-quality, well-built zoom eyepiece that offers bright, high-contrast views with excellent field flatness, minimal false colour and low distortion.
Includes Lanthanum glass lenses to reduce chromatic aberration.
The eyepiece focal lengths are parfocal across the zoom range, so require little or no focus adjustment when changing magnifications.
Generous 20mm eye-relief, so suitable for use with eyeglasses.
It also features a 4-position twist-up eye-guard for comfortable viewing.
Beautifully made from anodised aluminium, with a tactile rubber grip for comfort and security.

Am new to star gazing and wanted a zoom lens as part of my starter kit with my new Celestron StarSense Explorer 10" dob that would allow me to see most things in the sky before I save up to buy lots of high quality fixed focal length eyepieces over the coming years. I have not been disappointed with this zoom eyepiece to achieve what I was hoping for. As a newby I think the quality of this for the price is great and I love being able to get used to navigating the objects in the sky, quickly zooming in and out, without having to constantly change eyepieces.
As always, the services from FLO was quick and brilliant - overall, a very happy purchase!

Excellent service from FLO.
The eyepiece is crisp across the field of view, and offers a good build quality..
A slight niggle with the eyepiece is that the zoom function is a little heavier than I might have expected.
