Padded bag suitable for 300/1200 (12"/f4) Newtonians.

Oklop padded telescope bags are custom-designed to fit the telescope and provide safe storage and transportation.

They are manufactured in Europe to a high standard with rugged, water-resistant polyester outer fabric, a silky smooth inner liner and dense 10mm foam padding.

Other features include a sturdy shoulder strap positioned for balance, YKK carabiners and attachment rings for durability and long life.

Q1. What is the extra/third listed dimension for?

The third measurement/dimension corresponds to maximum focuser width/height measured including the width of the telescope tube as well.

You can see a little pocket on the side of the bag in the photographs accommodates a standard sized Newtonian focuser. Larger aftermarket focusers may need to be double checked with us for fitting.
