TS 2" Rack and Pinion Focuser for Loads up top 5kg

This focuser is ideal for Cassegrain telescopes, SCT or refractors. It is also suitable for use with Newtonian telescopes if enough working distance is available.

The focuser is designed for astrophotography, so it can be loaded with accessories up to 5 kg without tilting.

Screw connection of correctors through the M54x0.75 thread
If the Reducer or Flattener is screwed to the focuser, this prevents tilting. Many correctors offer the M54x0.75 connection thread on the telescope side. This makes it possible to attach a Reducer/Flattener.
Unscrew the 2" adapter to reveal an M54x0.75 female thread. This makes the focuser even shorter by 15 mm. Adapters to other connection threads, such as M48, M63 or M68, are available.

The adaptation of the focuser to telescopes:

The RAP2DEL has a ring dovetail (male) on the telescope side. The dovetail has a diameter of 70 mm at the thickest point and is 6 mm deep. TS offer ready-made adapters, such as for Newtonian telescopes from GSO, StellaLyra, Teleskop-Service or Skywatcher, and RC telescopes from GSO, AstroTech and Teleskop-Service (M90 or M117). They also offer an adapter for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes from Celestron or Meade. Further adapters, e.g., for different refractor telescopes, are being developed.
