This pier extension is solid, very stable, quick to install and disassembles compactly for storage. It integrates perfectly with my ZWO TC40 tripod. Only minor quibble is that for some altaz mount heads that sit close to the tripod, the lock levers on the PE160 can interfere with the azimuth movement. However, for equatorials and most other altaz mounts, there should be no problem. Thanks again to FLO for their advice and exemplary service!

Arrived quickly and well packaged. The Pier Extension is very well made. Quality materials well engineered. Easily fitted to and, removable from, the tripod but this does not negate the fitting or purpose. When attached tge connection is solid. FLO provided, as usual, an exemplary service.

This is a very strong pier despite being mostly air. It is very well made. I was surprised by how heavy it is especially considering it is designed for a carbon fibre mount. Hence 4* instead of 5*. Overall I am very pleased with it. Excellent service from FLO as usual.
