Good product with excellent quality. Bought this for a GEM28 with a Losmandy mount so I can use telescopes with Vixen-style dovetails. However, when trying to fit a WO ZS73 on this with the standard WO Vixen dovetail it was too wide for the WO dovetail, actually with about 2mm. To solve this I had to fill in with some thin metal plates on one end in order to get enough clamping force to secure the Telescope. ADM should have designed this so it would be possible to tighten the clamp for the Vixen-style dovetail with at least 2-3mm more travel. The WO ZS73 Dovetail might not be exactly according to spec, but I don't see any reason why this adapter could not be designed for longer travel so that it would work for most variations of Vixen Dovetails. Except for this minor annoyance this is an excellent product.

ADM has changed the design. Before, they were providing some spacers to put the vixen plate higher, because the knobs are big and hit the CEM40 plate. Plus, they are sending some V plate that are not like the D2V product listed on ADM website. Not FLO's fault, FLO is kind enough to help me solve the issue.

Another top quality ADM product - well engineered and gives lots of confidence that my gear is secure on the mount. Pricey though.

I bought this to convert my Celestron CGE mount to a vixen dovetail for my new refractor. Very nicely made unit with a spring loaded clamp (no screws to burr your vixen dovetail). I have to remove one of the locking screws to slide it onto my CGE mount as it collides with the locking knobs on the mount. A minor inconvenience and only takes a few seconds. Highly recommended piece of kit. ADM accessories never fail to deliver. Great service again from FLO.

I owned one of these to convert my CGE mount to the Vixen style fitting. It gives the vixen style dovetails a firm grip along their entire length rather than just where a couple of bolts bite in. It also doesn't mark the dovetails.

Ideal if you need to convert vixen to losmandy.
