TS 2" Crayford refractor focuser capable of carrying up to 5 kg payload! 

The TS UNCR2 is a short focuser with a height of only 60 mm. The excellent workmanship makes this focuser one of the best in its class. 

Due to the short overall profile, the focuser can be adapted to almost all refractors with tubes of 80 mm in diameter or larger. 

Adapting the UNCR2 to your telescope:

The focuser has the appropriate connection for a dovetail ring with an outer diameter of 72 mm on the telescope side. TS can offer individual adaptations to fit your telescope.

There are existing adapters for Skywatcher refractor telescopes and M90x1 connection thread. 

Features

  •  In addition to the 2" and 1.25" ring clamp, the focuser offers a 65 mm external thread for screw adaptations. This is especially important for astrophotography.
  • The focuser is only 60 mm high. This means that no valuable optical path is lost, and there are no problems with the focus position.
  • The focuser has a generous adjustment range of 72 mm.
  • Reinforced ball bearings and a V2A stainless steel running surface offer maximum rigidity and full functionality even after many years when aluminium slowly wears off.
  • The 1:10 reduction is of professional quality and is made of V2A and hardened steel.
  • Massive steel rails are incorporated in the extension tube as a counter bearing for the ball bearings for a clean run.
  • The resistance is adjusted with a friction screw. Clamping the pull-out is no longer necessary because the pull-out holds exactly the position you set, even with a heavy load. Nevertheless, there is also a clamping screw.
  • The steel parts and gears are designed for long-term operation under high loads, especially for astrophotography. The stainless steel ball bearings run on surfaces also made of stainless steel. 
  • The inner tube is provided with anti-reflective ribs to increase contrast. Nevertheless, you can lower 2" accessories into the focuser.
  • A gear takes up the movement of the optional TSACUMOTORFOK motor focus. A slip clutch still allows for manual operation. The power transmission occurs via the dual speed micro reduction for precise focus.
