Backyard Universe Primary Mirror Mask for Sky-Watcher 250mm Newtonian Telescopes

CNC milled aperture ring made of matt black aluminium (EN AW-6061), suitable for Skywatcher 250PDS / Quattro. 

This precisely manufactured aperture ring, for mounting on the primary mirror, reliably covers the mirror brackets and the outer area of ​​the primary mirror, thus helping to avoid unwanted diffraction effects caused by the brackets and a sloping mirror edge. 

A 2mm chamfer in the inner ring minimises unwanted residual reflections on the primary mirror from the inner edge of the aperture. 

Please Note:

All primary mirror masks for Skywatcher 250 Quattro/PDS have holes for six clamps. They fit all 10" Skywatcher Newtonians with six mirror clamps!

Excellent service from FLO and the mask fits well and from early tests has improved star images as previously had a lot of flaring which has now gone.
