I wanted this to carry to more than the advertised payload so John make a heavy duty one and even anodised it in red to match the rest of my setup.

One of those items you didn't know you needed! It's a solid well engendered saddle with easy to grip knobs. It takes a losmandy plate, which I didn't have on my scope. It's a shame the design didn't run to the normal dovetail - though I appreciate why it doesn't. With time wasted on piggyback scopes not aligning cleanly on target, I moved my rig to become a side by side setup. Even that alone wasn't precise enough, so I'm sure this will cure that; I still need to fine tune further. Great service, as usual, by FLO.

A beautifully made item which is on par with (or probably actually better than) my other ADM stuff. It holds a losmandy dovetail nicely with its two clamps and adjusts smoothly. My only gripe is that it doesn’t ship with any bolts, neither 1/4” UNC or M6, so after receiving it I then had to source my own cap head SS 1” UNC bolts (the ones supplied with the ADM losmandy dovetail I also bought were too short).

I noticed the JTD saddle on Sara Wager’s equipment description, inquired and found out it could handle my William Optics FLT 132s, so I got one a while ago. This is the best solution for matching FOVs from two telescopes! Living in a class 6 zone, I want to make the most efficient use of time in my observatory. I have run pairs of William Optics scopes using the JTD saddle...RedCats, Star 71s, FLT 132s. All three dual setups work exceedingly well. Highly recommended. ...Stephen in Colorado, USA

A sturdy and precisely engineered product which fitted my existing Altair Astro Losmandy plate. Adjustment to align my 805mm focal length 115 Apo and 2000mm focal length RC250TT couldn’t have been simpler. Highly recommended.

I bought this in the hope that, even though I was working outside of its limits, it would allow me to bring my twin C11 scopes onto a common target. It works superbly!
It was easy to mount, and easy to adjust to zero the two scopes; a little readjustment was required when locking down, but this, too, was easy enough.
Well pleased with this purchase.
