About this product
Model: stellamira_66mm_ed
Part Number: S400G-A06
Beautifully made 66mm f/6 ED refractor with R&P Focuser.
A classic!
This compact telescope features fully multicoated, air-spaced doublet optics with an Ohara ED glass lens for sharp, high-contrast images, virtually free of false colour.
The sturdy, rotatable, dual-speed, 2" Rack & Pinion focuser provides smooth, precise focus adjustments.
Other features include a retractable aluminium dew shield and removable L-shape bracket (shaped to fit a vixen-type saddle) for easy mounting onto an astronomy mount or camera tripod.
When used for visual astronomy, it provides beautiful widefield views of the night sky.
An optional StellaMira 2" Field Flattener is available for astrophotography. Perfect for use with a DSLR or dedicated astronomy camera (sensor sizes up to and including APS-C).
It also serves as a convenient ultra-portable ED telescope for visual astronomy (think binocular astronomy targets) and nature photography.
Includes aluminium carry case for safe, easy transportation.
