Astro Essentials SeeStar S50 Push-Fit Lens Cap

Designed specifically for the ZWO Seestar S50.

3D printed in tough, black filament.

Please note, this must be fully in place on the SeeStar before turning the device off and triggering its auto park home routine - it cannot be placed on with the device parked 'closed'.

This product is 3D printed, so the usual minor imperfections, like layer lines, associated with 3D printing can be seen on the printed parts.

It does what it says on the tin but,make sure you push it all the way on because when the seestar parks up it can jam,only about 1mm gap.

Yes - due to the clearance available on the SeeStar this cap needs to be pushed fully in for it to close correctly once fitted.

Really tight, requires more force to put on and take off than I would like.

Fit is just right, Does not touch the main body of the telescope too, shame the S50 does not come with one.

This lens cap is necessary in order to protect the telescope objective lens, without having to dismantle and box the scope and tripod.
