Bresser Messier 12" Dobson Telescope

The new Bresser Messier 12" Dobsonian enhances this well-liked telescope series while providing great portability due to its lightweight fibreglass telescope tube.

Despite its low price, the Messier 12 offers a variety of functions as well as quality that you would not find in considerably more expensive instruments.

The large aperture of 305 mm gives you significantly more light-gathering capacity than smaller models. You are, therefore, not limited to observing the moon and the planets of our solar system - you can look far out into the universe and observe globular clusters, nebulae and galaxies with even greater brightness. Details become visible in most deep-sky objects: globular clusters are resolved into individual stars, and gas nebulae, which can only be guessed at with smaller devices, show structure.

The Messier 12 is unrivalled in its versatility: The excellent large Hexafoc focuser has an aperture of 65 mm, so there is no noticeable obstruction from the focuser tube, even with large wide-field eyepieces.

Even heavier eyepieces are held effortlessly. And suppose a cumbersome accessory is attached, such as a binoviewer. In that case, the entire telescope tube can be moved inside the tube clamps - and everything is balanced again in a flash.

The unrivalled rigidity of the focuser makes focusing easy - so photography with this instrument is also possible.

If you wish to take photos, you can unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and attach it to an equatorial mount using a dovetail bar - so nothing is standing in the way of astrophotography. An optional 10:1 gear reduction for the focuser is available for the highest demands.

Considering that the focuser is the most frequently used part of the telescope, using the Hexafoc on this telescope is a quantum leap for this price range.

With the included equipment, you can start observing immediately - a 6x30 finder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece are included with the telescope.

Various other viewfinder types can be retrofitted using the two new hybrid viewfinder shoes (Art. 0620158) supplied as standard.

In addition, the new 12" Bresser Messier is as portable as possible - the rocker box can be dismantled in a few simple steps because the parts are assembled with metal quick-release connectors. This quickly turns a bulky rocker box into a handy flat package of individual parts.

The Bresser Messier 12 is a telescope whose versatility, performance and user-friendliness set new standards in this price class.

Includes a high-quality objective solar filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits.

A BRESSER premium telescope for night and solar observation.
