Astro Essentials premium quality flexible dew shields, made in the UK.

Robust design using modern materials for high performance and long life!

A dew shield prevents the formation of dew on your telescope optics.

It also prevents stray light from entering the telescope.

Features include an inner black felt liner that reduces reflections for maximum contrast.

Wrap the dew shield around the end of your telescope tube near the optics and secure it with the integrated Velcro.

Dimensions are 40cm long and 13cm wide.

Please check the circumference of your telescope to ensure it will provide a good fit (a few cm are necessary for the velcro areas to overlap).

Good quality - fits my Mak 90 perfectly

My Orion Maksutov 90mm is 3.5 inches so I was unsure which to buy. I went with the 3” and it is fine. Also quite easy to store it as you can story it wrapped around the telescope tube itself.

Dew shield for binoculars

After checking sizing with FLO I got 2 of these for my celestron skymaster pro 20x80 binoculars. I can say they fit perfectly and securely, leaving only a few mm of velcro exposed. No need to removce the binos flip down lens caps as they slide back behind the shields just the right distance. In use they are secure, align well, and dont move. After use, the shields, when unvelcro'd, conveniently fit in the bag sideways around the binos. One of the two shields was an unused return 10 pounds cheaper, so I got a good deal, good advice and fast delivery, thanks.

Works and decent quality

I got this to help minimise any stay light from neighbours houses and the dreaded downlighters! Its nicely made and secure, it has nice flocking and my only real complaint as such is that I think it could do with being a bit longer, maybe an additional 50% on length would be ideal. But it is still good and an improvement over just relying on the telescope dew shield.
