Astro Essentials Moon Filter 1.25" ND 0.6

Reduces unwanted glare when observing the Moon and planets. 

This neutral density filter allows 25% of visible light to pass through. Only one-quarter of the amount of light passes through into the eyepiece, making the image 4x fainter.

Premium optical glass with anti-reflection coatings and a neutral density (doesn't affect colour). 

Screws into the standard 1.25" filter thread of eyepieces and accessories. It can also be stacked with other filters.

I wanted to order the Baader ND filter but was out of stock so I took the plunge and ordered this instead. I used it on the Moon and Jupiter and I am quite happy with this. The anti-reflective coatings are not as good as the Baader ND filter (I have the 0.9) but for the price it is great. I observed the Moon at 100x-170x and just as sharp with as many details if I observed without the filter. Great!
