Model: zwo_m54-tilterPart Number: ZWO M54-TILTER
Compatible Camera Types: ASI2600 Pro Series/ASI6200 Pro Series/ASI2400MC Pro
The significant advantage of this Tilt Adjuster is that the three rear adjustment points ensure tilt adjustment is much easier than removing the tilt plate from the camera.
1. Remove the M54-Tilter from the packaging box and use an Allen wrench to remove the three cylindrical screws on the top.
2. Remove the original sensor tilt plate from the cooled camera.
3. Place the base of the M54-Tilter onto the cooled camera and fasten it with six Phillips flat-head screws (specification: M2.5*6).
4. Cover the top of the M54-Tilter, turn the camera over, and fasten it with three cylindrical screws from the back.
Using this on my ZWO2600mc and it makes life so much easier by having the adjustment screws facing towards you when the camera is actually on the scope/or jig I've got setup. I don't have to remove the camera every time I want to make adjustments.I think these adjustment plates should come as standard with these cameras.(So much better)Also fast delivery as usual from FLO. Thanks
Great M54 tilt adapter used for my new ASI2600MC Duo. Great product for removing any tilt found in the camera. Usual fantastic service from FLO. Thanks.
This is a far better tilt plate then I had envisaged. The stock tilt plate on the ASI6200 and 2600 cameras had very little thought. How were you expected to adjust for tilt when the adjustement screws are on the front of the camera and any adjustment caused the plate to float in place thus making adjustments near impossible? The new tilt plate addresses these concerns. The floating plate issue has been addressed by the compression of a foam ring which is nice and tight- so if you move a screw for adjustment which is now on the rear the tilt plate stays in position & moves easily to the new selected position. This will make adjustments very easy & precise and it is very clear as to where the adjustment screws and lock screws are placed. The only criticism and it is small is that I wish ZWO had supplied a long allen key that could be used to easy adjustment as it would be ideal if the key cleared the top of the camera. You may be able to adapt an allen key to suit- it just needs to be long.
