I'd like to thank Chris from FLO for his detailed reply to my email, and his recommendation of this telescope.

I picked this up the next day after ordering it. Got it set up in no time. Thankfully I had clear skies and saw great views of Jupiter and Saturn. I saw some of Jupiter's bands (which sort of flitted in and out of focus) and 4 largest moons, and saturn's rings. I'm very impressed and am looking forward to using it again tonight.

I dont think I had the EQ mount perfectly aligned but it just meant that it needed a small correction every now and then with the other slo-mo knob.

I was excited to see the Starquest 102MC appear on FLO's website, and as soon as it appeared it stock it was shipped promptly (as always by FLO!), arriving the next day. So far it looks like a great little package, combining a lightweight Eq/Alt-Az mount with a decent 4" apeture. Looking forward to using it on Mars, Jupiter and Saturn very soon. This is excellent value for money essentially a Skymax 102 with mount. Ideal first time telescope. This is my first telescope since being a child and Ive loves how easy to use this is. Quick and easy set up. 20 mins and great views of Venus! Hoping to get some good views of Jupiter and Saturn in the coming weeks.

Télescope arrivé en cinq jours en Belgique. Montage ultra-simple, la monture Starquest est très intuitive à manipuler en mode azimutal (je suis totalement débutant en astronomie).
Le soir même nous avons regardé Jupiter et ses Lunes, Saturne et ses anneaux : quel plaisir de faire l'alignement du télescope et la mise au point soi-même. Il nous reste à maitriser le mode équatorial, ce sera pour plus tard.
Je suis très satisfait du télescope.
Dommage que le tube du télescope ne soit pas livré avec un petit sac de transport ou une housse pour le protéger.
